A fairy-tale lecture for the Russian Geographical Society
Part of The Most Beautiful Country festival.
Format:
- An original lecture-performance: ideas, humour and a connection with the audience.
Objectives:
- Present Russian fairy tales as a living system of meaning rather than a textbook subject.
- Hold a diverse audience's attention with depth and an accessible delivery.
What I did:
- Wrote the script and structured the lecture as a performance.
- Researched archetypes, mythic motifs and parallels with Jung and culture.
- Built a clear rhythm with key ideas, audience interaction and humour.
Results:
- The organisers requested a repeat of the programme.
- A complex subject became accessible and engaging for a broad audience.
